Payment, Cancellation and Refund Terms

Therefore, we have developed these Payment, Cancellation & Refund Terms (these Terms) to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights with respect to payments and refunds, for Event Management Plans (the Plans) purchased via our website (our Website).

Your order signifies your agreement to be bound by these Terms, which constitute the agreement between Event Management Plans and you.


You must provide complete and accurate details at the time of purchasing the Plans from us. You may be required to provide additional details upon our request, to ensure the accuracy of your order.


All prices quoted on our Website, or pursuant to any enquiry that you may make with us, are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST.

We reserve the right to vary the prices displayed on our Website, from time to time, and without notice to you.


Event Management Plans accepts payment by credit card, via PayPal.

After you make payment for your order, you will receive a transaction confirmation email, which confirms receipt of your order.

In the event that Event Management Plans does not receive cleared funds from you, within 48 hours of you submitting your order with us, we will email you at the email address nominated in your order, to communicate about your payment.


By purchasing the plans from us, you understand, agree and acknowledge that we make no warranty as to the suitability of the Plans for your intended use, or that the plans comply with any regulations and/or standards that you may be required to comply with.


The Plans contain material to assist in meeting work health and safety obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011. Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this information, at the time of publication, it is provided as guidance only and does not constitute legal advice, nor does it necessarily fulfill any regulatory or compliance obligations that you may have.


We recognise that protection and safety of information relating to your credit card is very important. Therefore, we provide you with a very safe and stress-free online shopping experience.

We do not store your credit card details at any time, so consumer confidence and satisfaction is assured at all times.


Cancellation by us
Event Management Plans may cancel your order, if for any reason, we are unable to provide you with the Plans that you have purchased from us. We will contact you should this occur.
You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation.

Cancellation by you
You are not permitted to cancel any order, unless expressly agreed to, in writing, by Event Management Plans. Event Management Plans is not under any obligation, legal or otherwise, to agree to cancel any order that you have made, via the Website.


If you are concerned about your entitlement to a refund relating to your purchase of any Plans, we recommend that you read on to learn about your rights and our obligations to you.

Entitlement to a refund
You will only be entitled to a refund where you have an entitlement under any relevant law, such as the Australian Consumer Law. In the event that you believe that you are entitled to a refund, you must provide us with:

• your full name and any other details that we may require from you to confirm your purchase of the Plans; and
• the reason for claiming the refund.

Issue of refunds
If you are entitled to a refund, then the refund will be issued to you via the same payment method used by you to make your original payment to us. Please email us if you have not received your refund within three (3) business days of us notifying you that a refund has been issued.


Your purchase and use of the Plans does not confer upon you, any ownership rights, with respect to the Plans. All intellectual property rights associated with the Plans, including design, text, images and graphics comprised in the Plans, are owned or under licence by Event Management Plans and protected by Australian and international laws.

By purchasing the Plans, via our Website, Event Management Plans grants you a non-exclusive licence to use the Plans.

You may only use the Plans for the purpose of assisting you with the organisation and management of your events, and for no other purpose. You must not reproduce or use the Plans for commercial purposes, including sale.

In the event that you commit any act that we consider to amount to an infringement of our intellectual property rights, we will not hesitate to enforce our rights against you.


By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the Event Management Plans business, including information relating to items, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may email us to unsubscribe at any time.


The laws of Queensland, Australia, govern these Terms.
